County Road 220 Phase 2 project starts on Monday, January 20, drivers can expect detours
Drivers can expect detours as crews will begin Phase 2 of the lane-widening and reconstruction project on County Road 220 on Monday, January 20, 2025. All businesses and residents will have full access to their properties. The County worked closely with emergency responders and the school district throughout the planning process.
Phase 2 includes widening County Road 220 to four lanes from east of Chief Ridaught Trail to Knight Boxx Road and a new four-lane bridge over Little Black Creek, along with signal updates at Knight Boxx Road and Blanding Boulevard to ease traffic congestion. Work will begin on January 20 and will take about 16 months to complete. You can stay up to date on this project on our website, or by signing up for our Road and Lane Closure Report.
