Clay County Recycle Program change. In order to avoid a cost increase, please place only these high-value items in your recycle bin:

  1. Clean flat cardboard up to 3' x 3' (NO PIZZA BOXES)

  2. #1 and #2 plastic bottles and jugs (e.g. water and soda bottles, milk and laundry jugs, etc.) #1 and #2 plastics will have the symbols that are in the attached infographic on the container.

  3. Metal cans

Do Not place any other items such as GLASS, PLASTIC BAGS/CONTAINERS/WRAP in the bins.

When in doubt throw it out!

The bureau operates and maintains 1,600 monitoring stations throughout the district and processes data from approximately 200 additional sites collected by federal agencies, other districts and local governments, or by the U.S. Geological Survey under contract to the district. More than 14 million measurements are collected, verified, processed and stored each year. These data are disseminated to district staff and are made available on this page.
