BY THE CLAY COUNTY CANVASSING BOARD

NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State ordered a machine recount in the U.S. Senate and the Florida Governor and Commissioner of Agriculture races. The Clay County Canvassing Board will meet at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, to conduct that recount at the Supervisor of Elections Office, 500 N. Orange Ave., Green Cove Springs, FL 32043.

A Logic and Accuracy Testing of the equipment used in the Recount will occur on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.

If the Secretary of State orders a manual recount in the U.S. Senate, the Florida Governor or Commissioner of Agriculture race(s), the Clay County Canvassing Board will meet at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, November 16, 2018, to conduct the manual recount at the Supervisor of Elections Office, 500 N. Orange Ave., Green Cove Springs, FL 32043.

All recounts, if ordered, will be open to the public. Persons are advised that if they decide to appeal decisions made at this recount they will need a record of the proceedings and for such purpose they need to ensure a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
