THE CITY OF KEYSTONE HEIGHTS BRINGS PICKLEBALL TO SUNRISE PARK
City of Keystone Heights - Keystone Heights Sunrise Park has another addition for residents and guests to enjoy – Pickleball!
Pickleball has been a topic of great interest for some time now for the City and residents who enjoy the up-and-coming sport. Residents made their desires known for a court of their own, and the City has delivered.
After much discussion on whether the City should create a new court or repurpose an existing slab, Council made the decision to utilize the existing slab located in Sunrise Park.
Council awarded a quote submitted by Top Line Recreation during the December 7, 2020 Council Meeting. Top Line specializes in Versa Court Tiles which go over existing slabs and bend and flex with the imperfections in the concrete. The project was completed on January 22, 2021, install only taking several hours. This was not only a cost and time efficient option, but will bring further improvement to Sunrise Park.
The Grand Opening Event for the Pickleball Court will be held on February 2, 2021 at 10am at Keystone Heights Sunrise Park, 7399 Sunrise Blvd., Keystone Heights, FL 32656
